Deye SE-F16 16 kWh Lithium Battery with Display

The Deye SE-F16 is part of Deye's Spring series of low-voltage LiFePO4 storage batteries. One cabinet holds 16 kWh of nominal energy (51.2 V, 314 Ah). About 14.4 kWh of that is usable at the recommended 90% depth of discharge. This display version (SE-F16-C) has an LCD on the front that shows the state of charge as a percentage. A Deye-logo backlight glows blue during normal operation and turns red, with an error code on screen, when something needs attention.

The SE-F16 is built for heavy loads. It accepts up to 160 A of continuous charge current and supplies 230 A of continuous discharge current, about 11.8 kW at nominal voltage, with peaks of 280 A for 10 seconds. That is enough to run air conditioners, water pumps and everyday appliances through long outages of the national grid. The built-in BMS monitors the voltage, current and temperature of each cell and balances the cells during charge and discharge. A buzzer sounds on low charge or abnormal conditions. The battery is rated for at least 6,000 cycles (25°C, 70% end of life).

The cabinet can hang on a wall, stand on the floor or be stacked, and optional wheels are available. It has handles on the sides and a front power switch. The battery connects to Deye low-voltage hybrid inverters over CAN 2.0 and RS485. Over Bluetooth it links to the Deye Cloud app for monitoring and firmware updates. You can add capacity later with up to 32 units in parallel, or 64 with a CAN-Box. The enclosure is rated IP21 for indoor use, and the battery discharges at ambient temperatures from -20 to 55°C. It suits Iraqi homes and businesses when installed in a shaded, well-ventilated indoor spot.
