Overview

The Deye SG05LP1 is a single-phase, low-voltage hybrid inverter. One IP65 wall-mounted unit holds a dual-MPPT solar charge controller, a battery inverter/charger for 48V lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries, and an interface for the grid and a generator. It comes in 5, 6, 8 and 10 kW ratings, delivers clean 220/230V single-phase AC, and automatically decides how solar, battery, grid and generator power are used.

It suits Iraqi homes and businesses that juggle national-grid hours, private generator subscriptions and long summer outages. It stores daytime solar energy in the battery for the evening and night, and it can also charge the battery from a diesel generator. Its off-grid peak capacity of twice the rated power for 10 seconds helps start loads with high inrush current, such as air conditioners and water pumps. Six programmable time periods set exactly when the battery charges and discharges.

The system grows with your needs. Up to 16 inverters can run in parallel, on-grid or off-grid, and multiple batteries can be paralleled. AC coupling lets it retrofit an existing on-grid solar system. Maximum efficiency reaches 97.6% and MPPT efficiency exceeds 99%. Wi-Fi, RS485 and CAN interfaces connect it to the lithium battery's BMS and allow remote monitoring from a mobile app.
