Deye SE-F5 5 kWh Wall-Mounted Lithium Battery

The Deye SE-F5 is a low-voltage (48V-class) lithium iron phosphate battery. It delivers 5.12kWh of nominal energy at 51.2V and 100Ah. It is made by Ningbo Deye ESS, the energy-storage arm of the Deye group that also makes the popular Deye hybrid inverters. The unit shown is Version L (Deye Logo): a white case with the blue Deye logo, red (+) and black (-) terminals on top, carry handles on the sides and ventilation louvers at the bottom of the front. Deye also sells the same battery with an LED-strip front (Version E) or an LCD-screen front (Version C). All three versions share the same electrical specifications.

A built-in smart BMS monitors the voltage, current and temperature of every cell. It balances the cells during charging and discharging to extend their life, and protects the pack against overcharge, deep discharge and overheating. The battery accepts up to 100A of continuous charge current and delivers up to 120A of continuous discharge current, with 150A peaks for 10 seconds. That is roughly 6kW from a single module. Over CAN 2.0 and RS485 it communicates with Deye low-voltage hybrid inverters, which enables lithium mode and full performance. Bluetooth lets you check live data and update the firmware from the Deye Cloud app.

The SE-F5 can grow with your needs. You can connect up to 32 batteries in parallel, or up to 64 with Deye's CAN-Box. Each unit can be mounted on a wall, stood on the floor or stacked, and is only 140mm deep. The battery discharges anywhere from -20 to 55°C and is rated for at least 6,000 cycles. That makes it a practical choice for Iraqi homes and shops that need to cover long grid outages and rely less on the neighbourhood generator. The enclosure is rated IP21, so install it indoors or in a shaded, well-ventilated spot out of direct sun.
